Job Summary:

The Server is responsible for providing a superior dining experience by anticipating guest needs, offering detailed menu knowledge, and delivering attentive service. This role requires a professional demeanor, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of exceptional dining protocols.

Requirements

Essential Job Duties:

• Greet guests warmly and ensure a welcoming atmosphere
• Present menus, answer questions, and make recommendations based on guest preferences
• Provide detailed information on menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them effectively to the kitchen
• Serve food and beverages in an elegant and timely manner
• Ensure proper table setting and maintain cleanliness throughout service
• Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly address any concerns
• Anticipate guest needs and provide personalized service
• Assist with special requests and dietary requirements
• Uphold the highest standards of etiquette and service protocols
• Work closely with kitchen staff and other servers to ensure seamless service
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions
• Other duties as assigned

Skills / Knowledge Required:

• 3-5 years of previous experience as a server required; fine dining or high-end restaurant experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage, including wine pairing
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and a commitment to hospitality
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Positive attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional service
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Hospitality or culinary training preferred
