Lone Tree Brewing Company in Lone Tree, CO is hiring for a full-time Packaging Assistant/Cellar Person.  We operate a 20-barrel brewhouse at our Main Lone Tree facility along with a 7-barrel Experimental/Pilot brewhouse at our Parker location.  Overall production is projected to be over 4,000 barrels of craft beer this year and we have been a consistent, quality-driven craft brewery since 2011.  The position is 30-40 hour/week plus overtime if needed (non-salaried) to commence immediately upon completion of the interview process.  The ideal candidate will be hardworking, mechanically inclined and passionate about beer quality.  This position reports to the Director of Brewing Operations and will serve as a member of the Production Team.  The position’s pay rate will start at $20.00/hour, depending on prior experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

•           Assisting, maintaining and running our fully automated canning line

•           Troubleshoot and fix packaging equipment

•           Cleaning and filling of kegs

•           Assisting with distributor orders for weekly deliveries

•           Assisting in carbonating beers to correct pre-determined levels

•           General brewery cleaning and upkeep

•          Participating in R&D brewing at Parker Pilot Brewery

•           Maintaining all OSHA and in-house standards 

•           Operation of a forklift

•           Supplying our Parker location weekly with production quantities

•           Participate in the occasional beer festival or brewery event

•           Capability to stand for eight+ hours

•           Work closely with Packaging Assistant all related tasks

•           Attend all staff meetings

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED

Our ideal candidate must fit in with our passionate and hardworking team, be a great communicator, possess a strong mechanical aptitude, and any experience in production brewing would be preferred. This position will include the opportunity to train on all aspects of the brewing/cellaring process and can include training on our experimental brewing program. Candidates must be serious about safety, quality, cleanliness and willingness to meet the physical labor requirements. A good candidate will also need to be able to lift up to 60 pounds, be able to twist and turn repeatedly, be able to reach over their shoulders, and work in a standing, walking, or crouching position at a steady pace. Candidates must also be available to work weekdays.  No previous experience in the brewing industry is required.
